dear prom queen
I hate you
you make me fucking sick
I love you
and everything you did to me
I wanted you so bad
I wanted you so bad
I wanted you so fucking bad
eyes like an ocean
men sank into the blue
you were always conscious
in making them believe
they belong to you
dear prom queen
I hate you
you make me fucking sick
I love you
and everything you did to me
I wanted you so bad
I wanted you so bad
I wanted you so fucking bad
tell me your secret
and I'll tell you mine
about the role you play
the fact you’re scared
and why you wear this masquerade
dear prom queen
I hate you
you make me fucking sick
I love you
And everything you did to me
I wanted you so bad
I wanted you so bad
I wanted
I wanted
I wanted you so bad
I wanted
I wanted
I wanted you so bad
you never truly loved
you never truly loved
you never truly loved
you never truly loved at all
but roses wither
and beauty fades away with years
and time leaves flowers
dead and gone
on empty graves
oh rusty crown, life is such a thief
It gives you hope
then it kills your dreams
I loved you
I hate you
I loved you
I hate you

I've been jamming out to this album since 2015. It's awesome, not a bad track. Favorites are Pure, Your Sweetness, Absolution, and Supersonic Home. artaxdies

One of my favorite albums of all time. Turnover really hit a sound here that resonates with me deeply, and I often find myself coming back to this record and falling in love with it all over again. The drums and bass are greatly underrated on this album, creating their own unique melodies that fit within the song and create something new rather than just follow the guitars. Nothing beats the somehow joyful and somber sound of this record. Rob Carpenter
